Outline of the English Site
The Japan Center for Climate Change Actions (JCCCA) is primarily concerned with providing information and giving assistance to Japanese citizens in order to promote national action towards combating global warming and climate change.
To this end, the Japanese-language JCCCA site provides variety of information related to global warming such as basic knowledge of the problem and possible action to be taken. It also gives assistance to people engaged in propagating the issue by providing them with photographs, programs, figures and tables that can be downloaded from the website.
However, given the existence of numerous English-language sites providing general information on the problem (for example the global warming sites at the United States Environmental Protection Agency or the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration), the English-language section of the JCCCA site will concentrate on providing information on:
